Copy Block

In OpenRail Overhead Line Designer you may copy parts of the catenary Elements. The Copy function saves the previous selected elements and all shortcuts in the clipboard. The distance of the elements to the track axis as well as the relative distance of the elements is preserved simultaneous to the copy process. This is reached by the fact that all data of an element refer in the XY level of the track path to which it belongs. However, you should note that the dependent elements which are associated to no connection element cannot be copied.

Intention

Copy several catenary elements into the clipboard.

Instructions

  1. Select the desired catenary objects.
  2. Verify your selection in the selection list.
  3. Declare the reference point (by click into the drawing area or by direct input).
  4. Confirm with OK.

Result

Now the clipboard contains the selected elements.
